After upgrading to 4.0.0.d no documents in the repository

I'm trying to upgrade from 3.4.0.d to 4.0.0.d.  I have tried both the standard war and the installer and have the same problem, no documents in my repository.  All the folders are there but the documents aren't.  I upgraded by:

1.  install alfresco
2.  update alfresco-global.properties:

point to my mysqldb
change my index settings to
#index.subsystem.name=solr
#dir.keystore=${dir.root}/keystore
#solr.port.ssl=8443
index.subsystem.name=lucene
index.recovery.mode=FULL

3.  copy the content of my old alf_data to the new alf_data
4.  start alfresco

alfresco upgrades the schema of mysql, but I get the following in my logs:
2012-02-29 00:57:12,946  WARN  [repo.dictionary.DictionaryDAO] [indexTrackerThread2] Type not found: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/website/1.0}article

Any help would be greatly appreciated
