Admin priveliges with strict LDAP/AD login

Hi there,

I'm currently involved in a project getting an Alfresco server running for the small company where I'm employed. It's mainly meant as a test to see what is possible with Alfresco and see if it's anything we can use in the future.

I've fetched the Alfresco3/Tomcat bundle and gotten in running on one of our Debian servers we use for trying out things.
I've managed to set up Alfresco to use our ActiveDirectory and everythign seems to work just fine. Although, even though my user is associated with the administrator groups in the AD.

I've browsed through the wiki and googled around a bit trying to find out how this should be done. I can see that it's possible to chain the login methods so that it's possible to have administrator users locally in Alfresco while having the other users stored in the AD - but I don't know. What's the customary way to do it? How do you guys do it?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Christian Rasmussen

Update the authority-service-context.xml and the bean authorityService
Ad your username by adding a row for value so that you have
<value>admin</value>
<value>yourusername</value>

Here is a more fancy way to do it, but involves coding
