Adding new actions as external jars

Hi,

We would like to add all kind of actions to the web client. We can change the web-client-config-actions.xml (using web-client-config-custom.xml).

The thing is that for our java code we would like to use external jars and just add them to the alfresco war. We don't want to build alfresco war when changing those classes.

Is there a way to do it? (We need many of the alfresco components in our java code).

You can create an Alfresco Module Package (AMP) file to accomplish this, see this wiki page as a starting point: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Module_Management_Tool
