I login as admin and created a space and then assign a user to the space as "Coordinator". The user has no access right to Alfresco Home. When the user tried to add content to the space, the following error occurs:
A system error happened during the operation: Failed to set content property on stream closure: node: workspace://SpacesStore/d0bce14e-a2d3-11db-aae7-ed8a3a2fe727 property: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content writer: ContentAccessor[ contentUrl=store://2007/1/13/15/0/d0c19c41-a2d3-11db-aae7-ed8a3a2fe727.bin, mimetype=text/plain, size=112, encoding=UTF-8]
I then assign "Consumer" to the user on Alfresco Home and the user is able to add content to the space.
Is it necessary for a user to have access right to Alfresco Home in order to add content in the sub-space??
From a default install I logged in as admin and created a new user, created a new space in Company Home and assigned the new user as Coordinator to the new space.
I then logged in as the new user and went into the new space. I selected Add Content and uploaded a new file successfully.
I did not see the error you reported. Did you do anything differently from me? If so, what other steps did you follow?
I had the same problem. For me, the solutiuon was in your answer: Indeed it seems impossible for any user to add content in a child space of Company Home, if Company home is closed to everyone but Admin. When I added a rule "GROUP_EVERYONE, Consumer) to Company Home, the problem was solved. Problem is I really don't want anyone to see CompanyHome…
