Add a category to a space

Is it possible to add a category to a space? It doesn't seem so. Is there some reason why this isn't possible and can I enable this somewhere?

I think I got the point now, I'll have to install 1.3 final first BEFORE I ask any more questions. Sorry to bother you.

I have this project sheet right in front of me and the task "install 1.3 final" is coming closer and closer. Maybe I should switch this with the "ask irrelevant questions" task…

Neverthless it's a good sign, I wont have to ask new features when Alfresco implements them before I know I need them.
