Activiti integration with node.js

Does anyone have experience with integrating Activiti with node.js.  I realize that there is a fundamental language issue with Activiti being Java and node.js being Javascript.  However, I thought it is worth asking if anyone has looked into this.

It should not be a big problem for the two environments communicate with each other using json rest api
