Activiti for simple validation rules

  Iam a newbie to Acitiviti ..

Iam planning to use activiti for simple validation rules to validate input from a file. Ex : then file will have list of account number  start date end date . The validation rules will be defined for each of these fields and acitivi should be able to take this rules and apply on the input file.

Please let me know if this is possible.

um yes, you use a service task to apply those rules and create tasks for users when something is wrong .., or whatever you want to do
