A new version of the Activiti Designer has been released –> version 0.8.0.
You can find this new version at:

Thanks a lot for yours excellent work.

I have a question about subprocess design(0.8.0), step as below:
1. i double-click subprocess node, a new tab open(a new .activiti file be generated, see fail-1).
2. i design a simplest process[start -> user task -> end] and save it.
3. close subprocess tab, and turn to Activiti program Editor tab, save it.
4. view bpmn, no subprocess element generated(see fail-2).

But if i design in subprocess directly(means drag-drop nodes to subprocess, not double-click subprocess node), bpmn generate successfully(see success-1).

So i want to confirm: double-click subprocess node and design is not support yet?

If I did not say clearly, please refer to the attachment[eclipse screenshot].

Thanks,

You are right that the double-click feature is not yet supported and we should have disabled that.
So you have to design the embedded sub process straight in the main process diagram.

Hi,

Can you attach the diagram you want to import to this forum post?
The Designer expects valid BPMN 2.0 XML. Maybe there's something wrong there, but I'll have to take a look at the BPMN 2.0 XML.

Hi,

I looked at the Modeler XML and I analyzed the problem in the Designer.
The Designer can't generate a good diagram because the tasks in the modeler are not typed.
So you should set the type (service task, user task, business rule task) in the Modeler on each task to make it possible for the Designer to import it.
