Activiti and OSGi

Hi All,

I'm interesting to know if activiti ( the process engine ) would work
within  an OSGi container…. and if you've take in consideration this topic
during design/development…

Unfortunately i had not yet any time, to try this…., but from the example
tutorials i've seen that there's code relying on classloadig to load resources, to
instantiate classes and so on, so i'm figuring if this would work on OSGi..

In the next weeks i hope to have some days to give it a try and
see… but still interested in your design/development choice…

Regards

Andrea

Guillaime Nodet, is trying to get activiti working in Karaf OSGI.

You can follow the progress on this in ACT-111.

Hi,

Sorry i had not found previous post, because it was on "Activiti Developers" forums.

BTW priority in my opinion at the moment is to have "bundles" version of the
jars, with update modifications, that lets activiti to be started and to be used without
classloading problems.

The choice of which services/ expose or not shoud easily be done within "application
specific" bundles once we've osgi ready jars!
