Active Directory Synch Groups/Users

Hi,

Odd question;

I have active directory Synch working on specific containers … Certain global groups etc. but our tree structure is somewhat flat with specific GG containers for each department with subversive containers beneath each one for computers etc.

Is there a way to have alfresco's AD synch parse all that info from a tree? Right now I have to specify an individual OU/Container for it to pull the information in each one.

You could just sync to the parent tree and it will get all child containers.

Incidentally, do your users get added to their groups in Alfresco?  The users show up in Alfresco and the groups show up in Alfresco, but none of the users are members of their Active Directory groups.

Nope it doesn't look like I have any users in the currently synched groups … go figure. I'm going to check my AD structure to make sure the groups that are in alfresco actually have members
