Hello,

I'd like to put a link on the login page of Alfresco which would point to the guest home so that visitors would be able to see it whenever they want without having to log in.

I retrieved the URL of the guest home using the link provided in the details view but if I create a link with this URL and click on it I'm redirected to the login page… always…

Is there a way to access the guest home simply without having to log in?
Thanks a lot for your answers!

Try appending "?guest=true" to the end of the URL.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
this should really work. Try here: http://www.opsoro.org/alfresco/n/browse/workspace/SpacesStore/1ea1e3cf-0a45-11dd-959a-f924e13b7513?g...
it is an Community Network - v2.9.0 (C_dev 816)…
Cheers, Jan

jpfi, try this:

go to your link : OK it works I'm logged in as a guest.
go to the login page (where my link to the guest home is) and now try pasting your link on the address bar -> you're redirected to the login page…
So basically it doesn't work if you've already been at least once "inside" alfresco… 😞

should I submit an issue concerning this? or is it considered a "valid" behavior? (I doubt it…)

ps: if you delete manually the JSESSION cookie you can go to the guest home as many times as you like…
