Hi All,
I am trying on AAAR (Alfresco Audit Analysis and Reporting ) on CE 4.2.e.
I installed as per the documentation,
I was able to run
./AAAR_Install.sh
./AAAR_Import.sh
./AAAR_Export.sh
with out any error on the screen, I was getting the progress on the screen, at the end of each script, it says to check the logs, But I am not able to find any log files in the AAAR installation directory
Please advice me on where is the log files
Thanks
Joseph John

Hi Bisana,

This is an interesting question for the ones that doesn't know exactly how Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) works.

The log mentioned in the command line result is directly the video because PDI does not have a default log file.
Of course this does not means that PDI does not have a very powerful log solution (it's the opposite).

I share with you that this is probably an improvement of the AAAR solution and I will work on that in the next release.
I will probably set in the PDI jobs a log file to store messages and results.

Thank you for the question.

Hi,

Starting from the recent release 2.0, it's possible to have a dedicated log for all the actions.
The log is fully described in:
<biserver-ce>/pentaho-solution/system/AAAR/endpoints/kettle/logs/AAAR.log

or
<biserver-ce>/tomcat/logs/catalina.out
