I installed 3.4c on Ubuntu and Share and Alfresco are working fine. I created wqs (Government) site, but cannot access it. I always receive the following message:

Having the same issue, but not familiar enough with alfresco to understand the fix. The bug report states fixing the metadata is solution, but not sure where that is. Can someone give a little more info? Thanks

Edit the metadata for the space named Quick Start Editorial. In the host field, put the IP address of your server. If you are running on localhost, then there may be a different problem.

Ah, that may be my problem. I don't have a space named Quick Start Editorial. At least, I'm assuming you're talking about a space in the Share interface. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding.
I have a clean install of 3.4c Community on Fedora 14 x64. Explorer and Share are working as expected from the web interfaces.
AND, once I followed the directions on setting up the Site, I was able to apply the metadata fix, and things work well. Thank you.
