3.3.3 to 3.4.2 enterprise upgrade

Looking at doing the upgrade from 3.3.3 to 3.4.2
  went over the "Upgrade" document in http://support.alfresco.com

  I see no "Gotcha" items, no database mods, no new config files, just install and go.

  Just wondering from others who have made the upgrade, is there any issues or problems I should look out for ?

Not completely the same, but we upgraded from 3.2 to Enterprise 3.4.1.  Here were some odds and ends that we came across:

- Auto installer brings up a PostgreSQL database, not mySQL
- my-sites dashlet doesn't sort the sites alphabetically
- my-calendar dashlet takes a long time to load in MyDashboard
- if you want to hide the "Repository" button, you can't just follow the instructions in the documentation

Pretty minor.

I noted a new parameter in alfresco-global.properties

notification.email.siteinvite=false

also on the first time I start it using the 3.3.3 database do I need
db.schema.update=true

Product was internationalized so there is language bundles for all the properties that was not there before.
took me a little while to figure out why my changes were not taking.
