2.9b + LDAP Authentication

Hi all,

am trying to use 2.9b + LDAP authentication,
am not able to login from admin and LDAP user it will show "Unable to login - unknown username/password."
the same process works in 2.1.2 correctly,
is there any different process for configuring with 2.9b.

If any solution let me know.

Process for configuring is much the same as in 2.1. The only difference I think is that instead of being one config file as in 2.1, 2.9B splits it into two files for easier config.

I don't know if it's related but when I tried using 2.9B and getting the CIFS working with the LDAP (passing on info to domain controllers), it would refuse to work. However it works fine in 2.1. I'm hoping that the upcoming release of the 2.9 Community Edition will sort a lot of these problems. Supposed to be released at the end of June, but with a few high level resignations, this might be pushed back a bit. From looking at the issues board issues.alfresco.com they don't seem to be making a lot of progress.
