Hi guys,
when I import a GIF file (Nuxeo UI or API), the type gets recognised, but all other generated formats are not in GIF, but JPEG (see attachment). I find this confusing, and in case of an animated git also a bug, since the generated "original JPEG" is not animated. Is it possible to make Nuxeo keep the same format for autogenerated content?
regards, Milan

It is default behavior for Nuxeo DAM to generate jpeg conversions. See details here: https://doc.nuxeo.com/nxdoc/digital-asset-management-dam/#picture-views
If you want to generate custom conversions, you can add your own conversions. Here is the documentation on that: https://doc.nuxeo.com/nxdoc/how-to-contribute-picture-conversions/
