We are facing an issue, wherein the alfresco goes to read only mode. After checking it shows that the license has expired. But it is not true, the license didnt expire. We tried to download the license key from support page and tried to upload through Admin console. It got activated and applied. After some time again the alfresco went to read only mode and now license information in admin console shows Valid Until: Jan 1, 1970 12:00:00 AM.
What could be the issue? Where do we need to place the license file in the installation?
We tried to place the file in /tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/license and clicked on Apply license button in admin console but it failed.
