solrcore.properties customization in SDK 3.1.0

I would like to customize the alfresco.port and data.dir.root properties present in solrcore.properties of solr4 in my SDK 3.1.0. Adding them in the main pom I see that they are not read and the default is always put. What is the best way to change those properties in SDK 3.1.0?

with SOLR 1.4 you need to update the values in below two places,

$ALF_HOME/alf_data/solr/archive-SpacesStore/conf/solrcore.properties

$ALF_HOME/alf_data/solr/workspace-SpacesStore/conf/solrcore.properties
