Hello
Does folder last modification date change when document gets modified?
I am talking here about property:
cm:modified | d:datetime | 06 Feb 2018 11:25:48 |
I wanted to confirm this in regards to Alfresco 3 as well as Alfresco 5.
Kind Regards
Krzysztof

Hi Krzysztof,
The modification date is changed when if you (when using alfresco 5)
- delete a child (move away)
- add a child
- change the name of a child
- update/modify the content of a child
but not if you change the metadata of a child (cm:name is the exception)
I think the modification date is also not updated if you change the content of a file with "edit in alfresco share"
You can disable the propagation with system.enableTimestampPropagation=false
true is the default.

when you update the content if the folder child and check it in, the modified timestamp gets updated on the folder (Alfresco 5).
Can you confirm that it happens in Alfresco 3 as well, please?
I just dont have access to third party repository, so i cant verify that.
Many Thanks for help.
