I was wondering if Alfresco 5.1e supports share/repository clustering and faillovers, or is it only for enterprise?

If it is available, can somebody give me more information how to set this up?

Thank you for the information in advance.

Best regards

Kaffi

It is Enterprise-only.

What's going on with Alfresco clustering? | ECM Architect

and probably some others that I've missed.

Adding to Jan Vonka‌'s response: The Alfresco-provided / supporrted clustering functionality is certainly Enterprise-only. Alfresco being open-source means that experts could theoretically add clustering independant of the Enterprise Edition. In other threads the discussion has also touched on the question of "Is clustering really needed to achieve a certain scalability target?". Some community experts would argue that before clustering is considered, the system infrastructure / setup needs to be looked at in more detail, to optimise that sufficiently before opting for the blunt tool "clustering".
