Hi,

i'm following this link  to add ocr in my alfresco share 5.2 community edition 

i have followed the steps which are provide in this link also successfully installed the repo and share jar to it's desired file location when i restart the server and check them in admin tool => module browser it shows there share.war is missing 

which other tools or other software is required?

is it compulsory to download ocr software first ?

if so then which are supported software and provide installation steps

Please, upload new image file and then try to search the text.

Hi Kintu Barot,

i'm able to find the text in pdf format only

not in images

Remove all the files from the following path

<ALF_HOME>/tomcat/temp/Alfresco

Upload new image file anywhere in the Alfresco repository, if the .txt file is generated on the above given path containing the text present in the image file you have uploaded then your OCR is working properly.

Otherwise you might have missing something from the steps mentioned here.

ok 

i'm having one question do i need to run ocr.sh file

everything seems fine i have properly followed the steps but don't know how to test 

i have uploaded one jpg file in which it contains text and when i'm tried to search that text from that given image i'm not able to retrieve that document
