Prerequisites / Environment

1. An instance of Alfresco must be installed and authentication must be working. WCM need not be enabled. This will be referred to as the 'Deployment Server'.
   
2. An instance of Alfresco must be installed and have WCM enabled. This will be referred to as the 'Authoring Server'.
   
3. (Optional) The external system which handles the files Alfresco will deploy must be configured such that it is aware of them. This could be Tomcat, Apache httpd, or simply a file server.
