Project Title: Blog post: Community Mirroring with Git
Aim of Project: At Akfresci we’ve used community mirroring for a while now, but I don’t think it’s something we’ve explained well to the community. Also it’s not something that seems to have a lot (any?) published methods about, even though it’s a problem I imagine many companies have. So, I decided to write a blog post that looks at managing public access to parts of a private Git repository.
Project Outcome: A blog post was published which outlined this approach => https://hub.alfresco.com/t5/alfresco-content-services-blog/community-mirroring-with-git/ba-p/298628.
This is also a good example of how hackathon can produce results that are relevant beyond the Alfresco community, in the true spirit of open source. Not everybody who contributes to Hackathon has to produce code - good quality documentation is essential to the success of any project.
