workflows lost after restore?

After restoring alfresco 4.0.c (database + dir.root) everything seems to work but the advanced workflows did not seem to be moved in the normal filestructure as it was on the orginal.
When I want to start an advandced workflow I got an error that a custom namespace 'mywf' is not defined. It was defined in one of my custom made workflows. When I compare the files the workflows are not in the tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension. The folders workflow and model seems to be gone, so is the bootstrap-context file. But the error seems to notice the workflows are still there but in a broken state. Problem is I can't find them after the restore.
The workflow console doesn't show me anything more that the fact that the mywf is not defined.
Please, any advice is highly appreciated.
Regards

Where have you restored from?

You will also need to restore or re-implement your configuration.

Hi, thanks for replying.
I restored from an installation on my Ubuntu machine, also a 4.0.c installation. It's a kind of a migrate. I still have the original installation so I did not actually 'lost' it. I restored the alfresco on a virtual machine running windows 7 so I can store the installation for later use and I can share this for demo purposes with my colleagues.

By re-implementing the configuration, do you mean copy the workflows in tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension + other files in  shared folder?
I thought that was something I had to do but this is nowhere mentioned in wiki I think. Also elsewhere in forums it is just stated to restrore database and copy dir.root.  That 's what I did.

Kris
