Workflow Implementation

Hi All:

I am new to Alfresco and would like to implement the following:

1. Users will upload documents into various spaces.
2. Others should not see the uploaded document (even read access also) unless it is approved by manager
3. Once it is approved, it should be published for all.

Please help me in implementing the tasks!

Hari,

Can you first check that the ad-hoc workflow sends an e-mail (tick the notify me box).

If that works, can you check you have re-deployed your modified process definition.  I don't know how you're deploying, but I suspect you need to change the <prop key="redeploy">false</prop> to <prop key="redeploy">true</prop> for the adhoc workflow definition in the bean "workflowBootstrap" in bootstrap-context.xml.

Hi,

I am trying out Alfresco 2.0 and having some issues with the new workflow.

Version 2.0 comes with a new option in the advanced workflw called "Web Site Submission"(Submit changes for approval). When I am opting for this and sumbmitting the wrkflw, I am getting a strange error as below.



We are implementing custom wrkflw in 1.4 for our org and it seems that 2.0 already has it [like the above option]

Please assist us in this so as we could try and implement 2.0 wrkflw.
