Workflow & Email Notification

Hi all,

I'm currently having two problems with our 3.2r416 Enterprise installation.

1) Workflows links in the dashlet open the document library instead of the detail view of the relevant document. Where and how can I change that behaviour?

2) As Alfresco is still in the testing phase in our company there are many users not freuqently checking for new content and posts. How can I set email notification for new files, posts etc. separately per site?

I am looking for the same email notification settings and I cant find it anywhere. I overheard at a lunch and learn meeting that it is possible now and I see the rules section that allows you to set a rule to email users you set to receive an email when say a document is added in a folder for instance however no email gets sent.

You have to configure your server for sending mails. Did you do that ?

My problem isn't that I can't set the right rules for email notification, that works. It's that there are no groups in Alfresco Explorer that include the share site memberships to be used with the "old" email templates. If there's a workaround for that - I'll be glad to try it out.
