Hello, I am sorry if this question has been answered in another post, but I am new in the alfresco community and I can not find the search facility.
I have a windows 2012 standard edition and I was planning to install Alfresco community there, no access to active directory or anything like that.
Question here is, do I need windows calc licences for the users connection to Alfresco?

Thanks

What is a windows calc license?   If you do need one then I suggest you use a different o.s.

If you mean a windows CAL license then a quick google search shows that it would seem nigh on impossible to get a straight answer as to what the requirements are.   If you do find you need a Cal then drop windows like a lead balloon!

The only time you would ever use cal licenses is if you are connecting to a piece of software that mainly is from microsoft. Terminal Server is a great example.

Since Alfresco Community Edition is free the only thing you have to worry about is having IIS installed on your server and then just treating it like any other web application.
