why I can't see office docs in alfresco 5.2?

Hi, I have an installation of Alfresco 5.2 on a server with Centos OS. My problem is that I can not see the Office document in the online viewer, I can only view PDF documents. I also have on another server an installation of alfresco 5.1 where I can see office documents and PDF documents without problems. I am new in alfresco and need help with my problem. Thank everyone for your help.

Note: I speek in Spanish and my English not is de best, i have excuse me if my question is no clear. Thank of new.

How did you install your Alfresco instance? And what is the exact version you used? 5.2 is not enough.

Have you used the official installer?

Can you share your alfresco's log here?

Hi:

A common problem with the Libreoffice that comes with Alfresco installer (in several 5.x versions) is that alfresco.sh script points to $INSTALLDIR/libreoffice/scripts/ctl.sh script, but it does not exist. It is called libreoffice_ctl.sh instead. This makes that Libreoffice process is not up, when starting Alfresco.

In this script (in Ubuntu), besides, I had to clean the back slashes from SOFFICE variable to make it work.
