Where do the values used in templates come from?

And can they be easily overridden? Specifically, I'm interested in the ${shareUrl} value in wf-email.html.ftl and others.

My Alfresco (share and explorer) is proxied by Apache, so the URL as Alfresco sees it is foo.example.com:8080, while users see it as https://www.example.com/. The former address shows up in email notifications, etc. As a workaround, I've modified my firewall to permit access via 8080, but I hate that solution.

I think I've done my due diligence as far as research, most of what I've come across seems to only apply to very old versions of Alfresco. I'm running 4.0.d.

That said…sorry if it appears that I'm just being lazy, and thank you in andvance.
