You never touch anything below WEB-INF.   Your configuration goes into the "shared" folder.

Hi Rogers,

I could not use the configuration $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/subsystems
It did not work.

I tried to change the files in:
tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/subsystems

It works fine.

Is there a way to point to $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/subsystems ?

Thanks,

Imad

What is the exact file and configuration change you are trying to make?

And if you are on tomcat6 do any of your configuration settings work?

While, of course, you can hack the internal configuration files of alfresco it will cause you grief when and if you need to upgrade in future.   At that point the files in WEB-INF need to be deleted and replaced.

if i modify  /opt/alfresco/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/authentication-services-context.xml
i should put modified version in /opt/alfresco/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/authentication-services-context.xml?
