Hi ,

Two general questions ;

What is the difference between alfresco share , alfresco enterprise , alfresco community ?

We have alfresco share 3.4a , is there a new version out ? There are problems with internal RSS feed on 3.4a .

Thanks

Alfresco Share is a user interface for the Alfresco Repository.  There are other user interfaces for the Alfresco Repository like Alfresco Explorer, Flex, Fred, MS Office and a large set of application specific user interfaces.

Alfresco enterprise and Alfresco community are two different versions of Alfresco. http://www.alfresco.com/services/subscription/

We have alfresco share 3.4a , is there a new version out ?
The current community version is 3.4.b.    There should be another version out "soon".

Thanks !

So Alfresco Repository is a version like Alfresco enterprise and Alfresco community ? Or is it part of alfresco enterprise ?

i.e alfresco share is ui of alfresco repository , alfresco repository is a part of alfresco enterprise.

is that the case?

sorry just want to be clear.

cheers

No.  You are muddling two different concepts.   The Repository is a core component of Alfresco.   Both Enterprise and Community have a Repository.
