Currently I´m under pressure to model and deploy a process change involving features which are not working in the current release of designer (already fixed in main, but I cannot wait…)

Anyone has positive experiences with other tools?

Thanks.

Currently I am using Yaoqiang( http://sourceforge.net/projects/bpmn/ ) for modelling my process but I have a mixed experience.
It has an Activiti extension which enables you e.g. to directely edit formproperties.
But if your model gets too big Yaiqiang has its problems.
And it doesn't seem to support every Activiti feature. I couldn't find a way to set an assignee or a group for a task.

If you cannot wait, try building the latest designer form source yourself… It's open source, after al Smiley Wink
