Webforms UI Control + Images

Hi to everybody.

Is there the possibility to create a web forms that let someone choose an image file showing him a preview of the picture? If i use just a file picker i can upload or select an image but i have to submit the new content to preview the image with the virtualization server: i need the preview before submitting the new content.

See my earlier post on configurability of the file-picker.

You can limit the file-picker to just pick images, but unfortunately, we've not yet had the opportunity to update the file-picker to showcase thumbnails.

If you'd like to take a crack at customizing the file picker to do this and contribute it back via a project, we'd love to evaluate and see if we can include in a future contribution.

I'm sorry, but we are running out of time with our project, so it isn't our priority to create a fully functional customization of the filepicker to show thumbs… Alfresco is a wonderful project, probably hard to exploit because of  the lack of (updated) documentation: for example, about the customization of the filepicker, it would be great if there had been a page on the wiki. I'll consider the customization of the filepicker for future tasks.

ps. Sorry for the bad consecutio temporum… english tenses are my weak points
