webdav takes not effort when file name too long ?

when  I upload  a document  having a long file name ,it uploads,but when i  edit in webdav ,but  it is  not  efferot….

If you are attempting to edit a file via WebDAV within the context of a web project, your operation will not succeed.  Web project do not currently support WebDAV or FTP interfaces; they currently only support CIFS.

And it can be edit in line .But when the  file  name  is  too long , it  can  not .
