WebDav and custom metadata

Hello,

I'm having a problem with Web Dav that I cant seem to fix. I have set up a network place http://<server>:8080/alfresco/webdav and I can successfully navigate through the Alfresco repository. I've set this up in both WIndows XP and Vista.

I have set up a custom content model which i am using throughout the repository - LibraryContent, which extends cm:Content. This model has extra metadata properties associated with it. The problem is that when I copy documents from one folder to another, these extra metadata fields get truncated. I can still see them there, but they are empty.

No messages in the Alfresco logs either.

My security configuration in file-servers-custom.xml is:

Can someone please help?

how do you copy/move the content? via webdav?

Yes, via webdav. I've created a new network place with the following url: http://server:8080/alfresco/webdav.

My logs show the following error:

Destination path, different server name/address
11:47:56,961 User:admin DEBUG [alfresco.webdav.protocol]   URL host=etoile, localName=127.0.0.1, localAddr=127.0.0.1
11:47:56,961 User:admin DEBUG [alfresco.webdav.protocol] COPY is returning status code: 502

however my hosts file currently looks like this;

127.0.0.1   localhost

although i've tried adding in my host name and the domain etc, with no luck.
