Hi all,
I have a requirement to be able to see some kind of WCM submission and deployment log (e.g. list of files submitted, when they are submitted, by whom and when the files are approved, to where they are deployed, etc.) for each files submission and deployment.
So far I can only see the submission history of submission request that still in the work flow and deployment log of currently deployed snapshot.
Does anyone know is there any log file for alfresco WCM submission or deployment or is it possible to see it on the UI?
Thanks,
Peter

Peter:
In our upcoming 2.2 release, we maintain a running history of deployment reports for each target end point - you have a complete audit trail for every snapshot of where it was deployed and what it did or did not successfully transfer. It's a complete overhaul of our current deployment report implementation in 2.1. You can see details on our wiki on the Deployment page.
For the list of modified files contained within each snapshot, that information is unfortunately available via our API only (via AVMRemote). We do have a JIRA filed for allowing users to see that discrete list of modified assets that comprise any given snapshot - as well as do things like a visual diff, a source diff, or an arbitrary comparison of deltas between any two snapshots (also doable today via AVMRemote).
We hope to get this included in our 3.0 release. It's a nice, out of the box audit trail. Please stay tuned for future updates on this.
