Is it possible to have an Alfresco server running on Red Hat Linux and a Standalone Deployment Receiver running on Solaris?  If so, how do I find the installation files for Solaris?  All I see are those for Windows, Linux and MAC.  Or can I use the LInux installer on a Solaris OS?

Yes of course you can use WCM across Operating Systems.

I don't know what is going on with the installers.   The standalone deployment receiver can be installed from the zip file.   If you can get an alfresco.war file then you install that onto an instance of Tomcat.

Thanks for the reply, I ended up zipping the installed deployment receiver files on Linux and extracted them on Solaris and all is working fine!  🙂
