Versioning Issue Help

When I select for a folder to have Versioning enabled, and there are Microsoft Office documents in that folder….is there a way to filter out the Microsoft Office temporary files as I don't need for them to get versioned.

I know I could just select that file for Versioning but, I might have several documents within that folder.

Oh….one more issue with Versioning.

Say I edit a document on a daily basis….Alfresco will keep all versions of this. In time this will add up and also take up a lot of storage if the file is 2MB to start with, as it doesnt just save the changes made…its saves a fresh copy. Is there a way to set it so it will remove any old versions that are say older than 30 days?
