Hi!

Is there a way, to define variables easily in the Activiti Explorer?

I'd like to show the explorer to some non-computer-oriented people, where they could define custom processes. These processes would calls some Service Tasks in the given order, there would be some choices, etc. - all easily can be draw on the Activiti Explorer.

But I'd like to set some variables (eg. "pass parameters" for my tasks). Is it accessible from the Activiti Explorer? If yes, how?

That's where forms come in. You defined forms for end-users, which map to process variables in the engine. Those process variables are used by service tasks.
