I'm trying to modify and deploy the VacationRequest example, and use the Activiti Explorer, but I'm struggling with the following issues:
- I get an error saying that a resourceRef attribute is not valid for potentialOwner tags;
- exclusiveGateways are always branching to the same target (i.e., effectively ignoring any decision).

Which VacationRequest is that? The one shipped with the Java examples or the one from the Modeler?

The one from the modeler. The Java example is fine.

The problems comes from the fact that Modeler does not support (yet) activiti attribute (using FormKey for example).
So , when opening VacationRequest with the modeler (and saving it), all the related activiti attribute are lost
