are there already plans to have an more readable (e.g. selfexplaning id-names instead of guids) export from the Signavio Editor (or a reduced / more readable additional File) which is easier to handle in activiti? If needed we could work on this area.
My gut feeling says that this will be too much work. But we can ask Signavio if it's easy to do.
I assume this is a developer focussed feature. We could also consider to start an eclipse editor for process modeling that is targeted for developers. In that environment I think it will be easier to get such features supported. Also xml completion in the xml view.
We will discuss it with Gero. Maybe an interim solution would help too: Just build a postprocessor which transforms the native orxy files into an reduced and more readablel format. We'll keep you updated in this thread.
you could try to adjust the method that generates the IDs. It can be found in the file main.js near the end of the file. The method is called ORYX.Editor.provideId.
