Using NAS with Alfresco

Hello,
we read about HD requirements for Alfresco installation: "for best perfomance you need HD locally access".
We are planning to install Alfresco Enterprise in our Company but we would like to use our NAS System. Could this configuration impact in to a bad perfomance using Alfresco? Is a supported configuration?

Yes you can store the content store and lucene indexes on any mountable filesystem or filesystems.    Obviously a slow filesystem or poor bandwidth will hurt performance.     The reccomended advice is to keep your lucene indexs on a local drive.
