I have Alfresco installed on a PC running windows and I want to connect to this Alfresco Server from a MAC OSX using CIFS.
We have a PC network and have Alfresco installed on a PC, all computers in this network are signed to the corporate DOMAIN. I am using the Alfresco's default authentication.
On the other hand, we have a handful of MAC's which are on the same network but with the difference that they are not registered in the Domain.
Any ideas?
P.S.
I already change the configurartion :
file-servers.xml (I added the domain)

you should be able to pull down the "Go" menu from the Finder, select connect to server, enter:
smb://yourservername.com/alfresco
then enter your credentials.

Thanks for the information.
It didn´t work the way you proposed, however it gave a new idea, which actually worked.
smb://servername_A/alfresco
It solved now!
