User Space/Home Access Permision/Limit Access to a space

Dear Alfresco Dev,

someone ask you on sept, 2005 for limit access on a space, and Kevin (Alfresco engineer) said it will provide at the end of that year.

is there security & permission feature for Alfresco Community ver. 2.2 ? could you please tell me how to configure it to make a space is private or shared to few user only ?

I don't understand well what you call "limit accesss on a space"

Because Alfresco provide this already from a long time ago.
On a space you can choose to invite users and you can disable inherit permissions from parent space to make it private.

That answer to your question ?

Thanks Ribz sorry i cancel this question, i've solved the problem by manage user space and invite the user and remote EVERYONE.

This is true for company home space.

Other possibility is to keep EVERYONE on company home space and disable inherit space permissions on children spaces.

If you remove EVERYONE, be carreful to give access to data dictionnary to users or they will not be able to access to space templates, mail template,scripts, etc…
