Hello, I'm Maurizio. I'm new with Alfresco Labs 3.0, so sorry if my question is stupid. I'd like to create some spaces and sub-spaces containing some docs, and invite users to see them. But if I want to let some users see some docs under some sub-spaces and not other docs into other sub-spaces? How can I do that? Please help me Ciao Maurizio
Look at "Manage Space Users" for one of your sub-spaces or "Manage Content Users" for individual pieces of content. You can invite users or groups to spaces and individual pieces of content. Sub-spaces (and content) can inherit the permissions from parent spaces. I believe Alfresco help covers this topic so you might also want to check there if you need more info.
By default, authenticated users can see everything. So if you want to restrict access to a given space, you'll need to uncheck "Inherit parent space permissions" and then add the users and groups who can see the content. People who aren't in one of the groups or aren't specifically added will no longer be able to see that space.
