Hi all,

First of all thanks for that great integration.
Now that I succeeded in making Alfresco working with Joomla I have some questions :

Is there a way to use the Joomla user to connect to Alfresco instead of the generic user defined in the component administration ? This is required to limit the access to spaces and documents based on the user rights.

If so, as I use a CAS extension component to control user's access into Joomla, is there a way to use that CAS authentication system to let Alfresco know who is logged and than to use that information to control the access to the Alfresco repository ?

Thanks for your help

To answer your questions :

1. Yes, can you use the Joomla user instead of a static user. This would require a few code changes. Since this seems the most requested feature I'm planning on adding it in the 1.1 version. Still need to figure out how to deal with the

2. Yes, that should be possible too. I would need to have a closer look at how the CAS extension works. Are you refering to this one : http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/auth_manager/
