Use template as default view for a space

Hi everyone,

I made a template that displays all my content in a space in a nice formatted table that also shows the added aspects of the content. What I would like to do is that everytime a user select the space where that content is located (for instance an "invoice" space), I want that space/the content to be displayed using my template.

Is this possible? It sounds like a standard feature but I can't find it.

It is easy enough yes - you can generate REST style direct URLs to spaces/content and the details pages for items. See this page:

There are examples of building up URLs using templates in some of the pre-installed templates in the Data Dictionary, I think the RSS template has some.
