Upload Documents via SSL 8443

When I use SSL Port 8443 with Alfresco Community 4.0.a there is not possible to upload documents with the upload dialog. It functions only with port 8080, no-SSL.

Is it a bug, a configuration problem, or do I only need to install a commercial zertificate, e.g. from Verifsign?

We had similar issues and they disappear when we got our real certificate in place.
