Upgrade v1.1 to v1.2

Hi,

What is the procedure for upgrading v1.1 to v1.2 ?
Do we only have to replace the war file with the new one ?
Do we have to export and import all data ?
Do we have to change database schema (or recreate it) ?

I am writing a page on the WIKI for this as we speak.  There are new configuration options, so these will need some attention.

Do we only have to replace the war file with the new one ?

Yes.

Do we have to export and import all data ?

No.  The patch system makes the required changes.

Do we have to change database schema (or recreate it) ?

No.  Hibernate takes care of schema changes.

I'll update this post and put another up as soon  as the Wiki page is available.

That worked fine. I've deleted the whole alfresco folder, then unzipped the war file, modified the configuration files as needed, then launched Alfresco.

The patch system worked fine, and in french thanks to the updated language pack 🙂 (permission, guest user, serializable values, saved search).
