Upgrade to 4.2 - Share extension compatibility

Hi Everyone

I haven't found any articles yet, which describe the migration from 4.1.x to 4.2 (Enterprise Versions) in aspect of Share customisations. First of all, as I see, Share does not exist anymore in 4.2, there is only Alfresco One. What happens, if I would migrate a fully customised Alfresco Share (4.1.x) to 4.2? (By fully customised I mean new dashlets, webforms, template modifications, etc) Will these changes be applied in alfresco One, or do I have to "recustomise" it?

Thanks for your answer!

Hello,

Share still exists in 4.2 and is the main client. "Alfresco One" is "just" the branding of the Enterprise version. If you migrate from 4.1 to 4.2, you should be able to take over most of the customizations. But you most likely will have to adapt customizations that affect Alfresco components, i.e. changes you made to the document library and such. This is primarily due to the changes introduced on the Surf tier concerning @markup and JS/CSS dependency inclusion.
